Why FlashPro Should be your first modification.
FlashPro is by far the most critical modification you will make. Many aftermarket parts claim to add horsepower and torque to your car immediately, but the only way to get everything out of the parts you buy is to get the car tuned. If you plan on getting other performance mods like a cold air intake or exhaust, you will want FlashPro to get the maximum performance from your new parts.
Hondata FlashPro allows you to tune and data log your 2017-2021 or 2022+ Civic. It includes a Windows-based software called FlashPro Manager that allows you to read and make changes to the ECU. By connecting the FlashPro to your laptop's USB and the vehicle's diagnostic port, you gain access to live tuning, various calibrations, and extensive real-time and stored data logging capabilities. The factory ECU does not need to be modified for Flash pro to work with the 2017-2021 Civic or 2022+ Civic.
Hondata is a state-of-the-art tuning device that enables individuals to optimize their vehicle's performance through advanced computer programming. 2022+ Civic MT EX and Touring:
The 22 Civic MT EX and Touring have been tuned to make not just more power than stock but more power than a Civic Si. All maps have been tuned to optimized fuel, ignition and boost. More power is gained easily with high octane and high boost. Hondata also has base maps for cold air intakes and short ram intakes. These base maps offer an additional 34 peak hp and 40-50 lb-ft torque across the entire rev range. When flex flue is added, there is an increase of 71 peak hp and 50-76 lb-ft torque across the entire rev range.
2022+ Civic Si:
Two base maps are provided with the FlashPro for the 2022+ 1.5 Civic Si. These maps were created using 91 octane fuel and a stock vehicle. There are two levels of torque preinstalled, a 240 lb-ft map and a 250 lb-ft map. The CARB maps allow for increasing power levels while remaining emissions compliant. It is possible to tune the torque tables to increase torque and power. However, the clutch may start slipping at greater than 260 lb-ft torque. The stock clutch is suitable for stock torque levels, but an increase of 25-30% can cause slipping. When a stronger clutch becomes available, Hondata will tune and release a higher torque CARB calibration.
2017-2021 Civic Si:
Hondata has created two tunes for 17-21 Civic Si. The stage one tune increases boost by 6 PSI and provides 233 hp and 258 lb-ft torque. Stage two will raise the boost by 9 PSI. This tune can generate 272 lb-ft torque. Tests were done on a dynapack dyno which can be very hard on the drivetrain making the clutch more likely to slip. During road testing however, the clutch showed no sign of slipping. Hondata recommends using the 6+ PSI tune with an upgraded clutch.
