What's in the Kit
You get a complete bolt-in package: a Sprung MIBA Ceramic 6 Puck Disc, a Single Diaphragm Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate with reinforced drive straps, a Conventional Release Bearing, a Pilot Bearing/Bushing (where applicable), and a Clutch Alignment Tool. Everything you need to do a clean install in one box.
Technical Specs and Holding Capacity
The Stage 3 kit delivers 170% increased crank torque holding capacity over the factory clutch. The pressure plate uses a single diaphragm design with reinforced drive straps for consistent clamp load across the RPM range. The MIBA ceramic disc provides a higher coefficient of friction than organic or Kevlar materials, which is what gets you that torque capacity gain without having to jump to a rigid puck setup. The sprung hub design absorbs driveline shock, so you retain a degree of street manners that a solid hub disc would eliminate.
Pedal Feel and Engagement
Expect a noticeably firmer pedal and a higher, more defined engagement point compared to stock. The ceramic disc will introduce some clutch chatter on cold take-offs - this is normal and will decrease significantly after the break-in procedure is complete. Once bedded in, engagement becomes consistent and predictable. This is not a daily-driver-only clutch, but it's far more streetable than a Stage 4 rigid setup.
Ideal Use Cases
This kit is the right call for B-series builds in the 250-350whp range running heavy street use with occasional track days, drag nights, or drift events. If you're on full race duty or running over 400whp, step up to the Stage 4. If you're under 250whp on a mostly street car, the Stage 2 will give you a more comfortable daily experience. Stage 3 sits in that middle ground where you want real performance without giving up too much street usability.
Is This the Right Stage for You?
- Stage 2: Best for lightly modified B-series builds under ~250whp. Organic disc, closest to OEM feel. Great for street-only cars that see occasional spirited driving.
- Stage 3 (this kit): Ceramic disc with sprung hub. Built for 250-350whp builds doing street and occasional competition. Expect chatter until broken in, firm pedal, strong bite.
- Stage 4: Rigid ceramic disc, maximum holding capacity. Best for dedicated race or drag builds. Not recommended for daily street use due to aggressive engagement and driveline stress.
Break-In Procedure
Proper break-in is required to retain your warranty and to fully develop the clutch's holding capacity. For the first 500 street miles: keep RPMs under 4,500, limit throttle to half-pedal or less, and do not apply boost if your car is turbocharged. Avoid hard launches, slipping the clutch excessively, or any track use during this period. After 500 miles, the friction surfaces will be fully seated and you'll have the full rated holding capacity available.

Fits 1994-2001 Acura Integra with B18B1, B18C1, B18C5, and B18C (B-Series) engines. Compatible with all trims: LS, GS, GS-R, Type R, SE, RS, and Special Edition. Verify flywheel bolt pattern and alignment before installation. This kit uses a 6-puck disc - confirm your flywheel surface is in serviceable condition or resurface/replace before install. Not compatible with cable clutch conversions without an appropriate hydraulic conversion kit.
Break-In Procedure (Required)
Complete 500 street miles under the following conditions to fully seat the friction surfaces and retain your warranty:
- Keep engine RPM under 4,500 during all take-offs and shifts
- Limit throttle to half-pedal or less - no wide-open throttle
- Do not apply boost if the vehicle is turbocharged or supercharged
- Avoid hard launches, burnouts, or extended clutch slipping
- No track, drag strip, or autocross use during break-in
After 500 miles the disc and flywheel surfaces will be fully mated and you'll have the complete 170% increased holding capacity available. Skipping or shortening break-in will reduce longevity and voids the product warranty.
