Injector Dynamics ID1050X Fuel Injectors - K-Series

The ID1050X is what Injector Dynamics learned building the ID1300X and ID1700X, applied back down to the size most K-series builds actually need. Developed with Bosch Motorsport, corrosion resistant throughout, and sized so it drops into a K-series without spacers. If you're past what factory injectors will support and want something that won't need replacing when the build progresses, this is the one.

With Or Without Pigtails

Pick your configuration at checkout. These are available as injectors alone, or with plug and play pigtail harnesses for K20A, K20Z, and K24A applications.

The pigtails are worth considering unless you've already got them sorted. They adapt the injector connector to your factory harness without cutting or splicing, which keeps the install clean and removes a place for a connection to go wrong later. On a fuel system component, that matters.

If you're already running adapters from a previous set of injectors, injectors alone is the sensible pick.

It Fits A K-Series Without Spacers

Worth calling out, because it's the practical advantage over a lot of larger injectors.

The ID1050X uses a compact 48mm body, which matches the OEM RSX injector length. That means no spacers required on a K-series, and no fighting a fuel rail that no longer sits where it should.

Adaptor tops are available to extend length to 60mm for 11mm B-series or 14mm K-series O-rings, so whatever your rail and manifold combination, there's a configuration that works.

Works With Every Fuel

This is the feature that matters most if E85 is anywhere in your plans.

The internals are corrosion resistant, which means compatibility with all known fuels and a considerably longer service life on corrosive ones. Ethanol is hard on injector internals over time, and it's the reason plenty of people end up replacing injectors that were never rated for it.

Buy these and the fuel you run isn't a factor. Pump gas now, E85 later, back and forth, it doesn't matter.

Rated To 10 Bar

A stronger magnetic circuit means stable operation up to 10 bar, which is 145 psi of differential fuel pressure.

That headroom matters on a boosted build. Base pressure rises with boost on a return-style system, and an injector operating near its pressure limit starts behaving unpredictably. Having real margin means the injector does the same thing at 25 psi that it does at idle.

1065cc At 3 Bar

The nominal rating is 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), measured with gasoline at 52°C. That's the standard test condition and it's the figure your tuner will want.

Worth knowing when you're comparing injectors, since flow figures get quoted at different pressures and the same injector can look very different depending on where it was measured. Make sure you're comparing like for like.

Injector Dynamics also improved the internal flow path on this generation, gaining roughly 5% output without giving up low flow performance. That low end matters more than people expect, since an injector that can't meter accurately at idle makes for a car that's unpleasant to drive regardless of what it does at full load.

No Resistor Box Needed

These are high impedance, so they run directly off your factory injector circuit without a resistor box or additional drivers. That keeps the install clean and removes a component from the system.

Replaceable Inlet Filter

Small detail with real value. The inlet filter can be replaced rather than being integral to the injector, which means a set that gets contaminated can be serviced rather than scrapped.

On injectors at this price point, that's the difference between a maintenance item and a replacement.

Fitment

2002-2006 Acura RSX
2004-2008 Acura TSX
2002-2011 Honda Civic Si
2006-2009 Honda S2000

K20A, K20Z, and K24A applications, plus the S2000 per Injector Dynamics' fitment. Plug and play pigtail harnesses available for K20A, K20Z, and K24A.

Who Should Run These

This is for the K-series builder who's outgrown factory injectors and wants a set that won't become the limitation again. Boost, E85, a built engine, or all three. Corrosion resistant for any fuel, no spacers needed, and real pressure headroom for a boosted application. Pick your configuration, get them properly tuned, and stop thinking about fuel delivery.
