Hybrid Racing -16AN to -16 ORB Straight Fitting

This is the piece that gets your cooling system onto AN line. Our coolant port adapters and swivel neck thermostat housings use a -16 ORB port, and this fitting converts that to a -16AN connection so you can run proper AN hose to your radiator instead of working around a barbed fitting that doesn't match anything else in the bay.

Designed For Our Housings Specifically

This isn't a generic adapter that happens to thread in. It's machined for our components, and it ships with the correct compliant O-ring for the ORB port, which is what actually makes the seal.

That O-ring matters more than people expect. A generic fitting with the wrong seal material will either leak or set up corrosion between dissimilar metals in a coolant system, and neither shows up immediately. Using the right one means a connection you install once and stop thinking about.

Where It Goes

Anywhere you've got a -16 ORB coolant port and want AN line coming off it. That covers our swivel neck thermostat housings and our coolant port adapters, in both FWD and RWD configurations.

The most common use is running from a lower thermostat housing to the radiator, which is where most people building a tucked or AN-plumbed bay start.

Why Bother Converting To AN

Two reasons, and both hold up.

The practical one is that AN gives you a real mechanical seal you can disassemble and reassemble without replacing anything. A barbed connection with a hose clamp works until it doesn't, and on a coolant system that eventually means a weep you're chasing.

The other is consistency. If the rest of your bay is AN, a rubber hose clamped to a barb is the piece that undoes the look, and it limits your routing options. Going AN throughout means you plumb the car the way you want rather than the way the hose reaches.

Built Properly

Machined from billet aluminum and anodized black, which holds up in an engine bay that sees constant heat cycling and moisture. Straight configuration.

Buy It Separately Or With The Housing

This fitting is sold on its own here, and it's also available bundled with the HYB-TSA-01-01 thermostat housing. If you're buying the housing anyway, grabbing them together saves a second order.

The thermostat housing is not included with this fitting.

Who Should Grab One

This is for anyone plumbing a K-series cooling system in AN, whether that's a tucked bay, a track build, or a swap where you're doing the plumbing properly the first time. Small part, but it's the connection between a housing you already bought and the line you want to run. Thread it in, seal it up, and get on with the rest of the build.

Type: -16AN male to -16 ORB straight fitting. Material: billet aluminum, black anodized. Includes: compliant O-ring for the ORB port. Works with: Hybrid Racing swivel neck thermostat housings and coolant port adapters. Note: thermostat housing not included.
