SpeedFactory Racing Aluminum Tucked Radiator - Honda/Acura B/D/H/F/K/J Series

If you've ever opened the hood on a built Honda and wondered how they got everything to look so clean back there, a tucked radiator is a big part of the answer. This is SpeedFactory's aluminum tucked radiator, and it does two jobs at once: it cools better than your factory unit, and it clears out a ton of space in the front of the bay so you've got room for a turbo kit, custom charge piping, or a tidy wire tuck. Whether you're building a street car, a track car, or something that's going to sit under show lights with the hood up, this is how you get serious cooling and a clean look in one part.

It Actually Cools Better, Not Just Looks Better

Plenty of tucked radiators are mostly about the look, but this one pulls real cooling duty too. It runs a dual pass, dual row core, which means the coolant takes a longer path through more tubes before it heads back to the engine, so it sheds more heat than the single-pass factory unit ever could. That's the kind of thing you really feel when you're sitting in traffic on a hot day or coming in off a few hard laps and your temps stay where you want them. If you're making more power than stock, you're making more heat too, and this core is built to keep up with it.

Built To Last, Not Just To Fit

This isn't a flimsy eBay special. The tanks are formed from H-3 5052 aluminum, CAD designed so they fit right and hold up strong, and every radiator gets professionally TIG welded and then pressure tested before it ships, so you're not finding a pinhole leak the hard way after it's installed. You also get a pair of SPAL 7.5" fans on a one-piece aluminum shroud with the SpeedFactory logo CNC engraved into it, and there's a -6AN ORB drain fitting down low so draining your coolant for service is quick instead of a mess. SPAL fans are the real deal too, not the no-name fans you'll find bundled with cheaper radiators.

Pick Your Fittings, Know Your Outlet Side

You can order this with either 32mm hose fittings if you're running standard radiator hose, or -16AN male fittings if you're plumbing a custom setup, so it works whichever way you're building. One thing to know before you order: the outlet location depends on your engine. On B, D, H, and F series cars the outlet sits on the back right side of the radiator, and on K and J series it moves to the back left. Make sure you're matching that to your swap so your hose routing lines up the way you planned.

Know Before You Wrench: This Is A Custom-Fit Part

Be straight with yourself about this one going in. This is a custom-fit upgrade, not a bolt-in factory replacement. It comes with two 3/16" thick aluminum mounting tabs, but you'll be drilling your own mounting holes to locate it, and depending on your build and chassis, some cutting may be involved too. That's the trade-off for the tucked look and the space you gain, it sits where you put it, not where Honda's brackets are. If you're comfortable with fab work or you've got a shop doing your build, it's no problem. If you were expecting to bolt it straight to factory mounts, this isn't that kind of radiator, and it's better to know that now.
