Brembo Rear Brake Drum - 2001-2005 Honda Civic / 2009-2013 Honda Fit

Rear brake drums worn out on your Civic or Fit? This Brembo rear brake drum's a direct factory replacement. It's got the same mass and geometry as the factory drum, so it doesn't change your brake bias or how the car stops. It just puts your rear braking back to where it was when the drums were new. If your drums are out of round, worn, or heat-cracked, your rear braking gets inconsistent and your pedal feels weird. The Brembo drum gives your brake shoes a flat, consistent surface so your rear brakes work like they're supposed to.

Why Your Rear Drums Matter

Even though your front brakes do most of the stopping, your rear drums control how the car settles under braking. When you're on the brakes hard, weight transfers forward and the rear gets light. If your rear drums are worn or out of round, the rear brakes grab unevenly and the back end gets sketchy. That's especially noticeable when you're trail braking into corners or doing repeated hard stops where the drums are heating up. Worn drums soak and hold heat unevenly, which causes fade and a pulsing pedal. A fresh drum that's round and properly sized gives the shoes a consistent surface to work against, so the rear end sheds heat evenly and brake feel stays predictable.

Factory Replacement, Not a Performance Upgrade

This Brembo drum's an OE-equivalent replacement. It's got the same mass and dimensions as the factory drum, so it keeps the factory brake bias you're used to. It's not designed to add rear brake bias or change how the car stops. It just replaces your worn-out drum with a fresh one that works like the original. If you're looking for a performance upgrade, this isn't it. If you need to replace worn drums and you want the car to brake like it did when it was new, this is what you need.

Replace Drums in Pairs

Always replace rear drums in pairs. If you only replace one drum, you'll have mismatched braking and heat distribution side to side. That causes the car to pull under braking and it wears your brake shoes unevenly. Order two drums if you're doing both sides.

What You Get

  • Brembo rear brake drum
  • OE-equivalent mass and dimensions
  • Factory brake bias and heat behavior
  • Direct replacement for factory drums
  • Brembo casting quality with tight tolerances

Fits Your Car

  • 2001-2005 Honda Civic DX, EX, LX, and Si
  • 2009-2013 Honda Fit

Note: This drum only fits Civic and Fit models that came with rear drum brakes from the factory. Some Civics and Fits have rear disc brakes. Check your rear brake setup before ordering. Replace drums in pairs. Inspect your brake shoes when you're replacing drums. If the shoes are glazed, cracked, or worn unevenly, replace them too. Clean and lube the backing plate contact points so the shoes can move freely. Adjust your parking brake after installing new drums. If you're tracking the car or driving it hard, replace the brake hardware (springs and adjusters) when you replace the drums.
