What It Is and Why It Works

PowerStop builds Z23 as a street-sport step above Z17. Catalogs call out a carbon-fiber ceramic formula, low dust, rubberized shims, stainless-steel hardware, and ceramic lubricant in the box. Z23 is still a daily pad, not a track compound. The Z17 sibling for the same 11th-gen non-Si front is 17-2185.

This is a pad set, not a rotor kit. Hardware is included. Civic Si uses Z23-2115 / 17-2115. Civic Type R uses a different package.

What to Know Before You Buy

Look at the caliper before you order. 11th-gen Si and Type R use larger front hardware. A Z23-2185 set will not service those cars. If the car is an LX, Sport, EX, or Touring, this is the Z23 front set.

Z23 is a street-sport ceramic pad. Bed the pads in. Replace the hardware that comes in the box. If the rotors are grooved or below spec, replace those too. This SKU is pads only.
