PowerStop Z16 Honda Civic Brake Pads Si Front
10th-gen Civic Si front pads wear on the street like any daily. PowerStop 16-1697 is the Z16 ceramic front set for 2017-2020 Civic Si. Front only. It is not a Type R pad and it is not a non-Si 1.5T or 2.0 Civic pad.
What It Is and Why It Works
PowerStop builds Z16 as a low-dust ceramic street pad. Catalogs call out a ceramic formula, chamfered and slotted faces, dual-layer shims, and a thermally scorched surface for faster break-in. Z16 is the pad-only ceramic line. Stainless hardware is not part of this SKU. The Z17 sibling with hardware is 17-1697. The Z23 Sport sibling is Z23-1697.
This is a pad set, not a rotor kit. Civic Type R uses 17-1001B / Z23-1001B. 11th-gen Civic Si uses a different front package (17-2115 / Z23-2115).

What to Know Before You Buy
Look at the caliper before you order. Civic Si uses a different front package than LX/EX/Sport and a different package than Type R. If the car is a 2017-2020 Si, this is the Z16 front set.
Z16 is a daily ceramic pad. Bed the pads in. If the rotors are grooved or below spec, replace those too. This SKU is pads only and does not include hardware.
