Hasport EFJ1 J Series Swap Mount Kit, 88-91 Civic/CRX
Dropping a J series V6 into an 88-91 Civic or CRX is the deep end of Honda swaps: a J32 or J35 with more displacement than any B, D or K path, sitting in the lightest chassis Honda ever sold here. The Hasport EFJ1 J series swap mount kit is the piece that locates the V6 in the EF engine bay, and Hasport is straightforward about what you are signing up for.
What It Is and Why It Works
The EFJ1 positions a J series engine and its hydraulic clutch transmission in the EF chassis with optimized engine placement for axle alignment, per Hasport. It works with most J series engines and transmissions, and dealer listings pair it with the 6 speed manuals from the 03-07 Accord V6 and 04-08 TL; some engine and transmission combinations need modification. The mounts are CAD designed billet aluminum with urethane bushings in four durometers, plus a solid 6061 billet version, backed by Hasport's limited lifetime warranty against defects, per manufacturer.
Here is the part the old listing soft-pedaled: this engine does not fit under the stock hood. Hasport says it plainly, the J is a tall motor and cutting and welding are required for the install. Plan for hood modification or an aftermarket hood with clearance, and plan for fabrication time. This is not the bolt-in weekend swap that a B series into the same car would be.

What to Know Before You Buy
Budget the whole build before you order mounts. The EF is a cable clutch chassis and every J series manual is hydraulic, so Hasport lists its clutch master cylinder adapter as part of this swap. You will also need J series swap axles, Hasport's radius rods for engine clearance, a shifter box and cables from the V6 donor, a conversion engine harness, and an ECU and tuning plan for the J. Add cooling and exhaust fabrication, because almost nothing from the four cylinder car carries over in front of the firewall.
Go 62A if the car will see real street miles; the stiffer 88A and 94A bushings put serious vibration into a chassis this light and are for track and drag builds. If you want a fast EF without the fabrication, a B or K swap is the sane route. The EFJ1 is for the builder who wants the car nobody else at the meet has, and who owns a welder or knows someone who does.
