Hasport EGH3 F/H Series Swap Mount Kit (EG/DC2)

An H22 in a 92-95 Civic EG hatch or a 94-01 Integra DC2 is one of the classic Honda swaps: Prelude power, real midrange torque that a B series never had, and a parts path that has been proven for twenty years. The Hasport EGH3 F and H series engine mount swap kit is how the engine actually gets located in the car, and it is the version that includes the rear engine bracket, which the EG and DC chassis need because nothing usable carries over from the donor Prelude.

What It Is and Why It Works

The kit contains the left, right and rear mounts plus the right hand and rear brackets, with all mounting hardware. Per Hasport's installation instructions it is built for H22 and H23 Prelude engines, JDM F20 and F22 DOHC engines, and the US 90-93 Accord F22A, paired with a 92-01 Prelude 5 speed manual, excluding the SH transmission. The mounts are CNC machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum with polyurethane bushings, carried by Hasport's limited lifetime warranty against defects, per manufacturer.

Pick your bushing stiffness honestly. 62A rides closest to stock and is the right call for a street driven EG or DC2. 70A suits a street car that sees occasional track days. 88A is for dedicated track builds and 94A for extreme race use, and Hybrid Racing also stocks the solid billet 6061 version for cars where cabin comfort is not a consideration at all. Every step up the scale puts more engine vibration into the chassis. Do not put 88A or 94A in a daily; you will feel it in the wheel, the seat and the mirror.

Hasport lists the Del Sol application as 94-97. The 93 Del Sol shares the EG platform, but confirm with Hasport before committing a 93 car.

What to Know Before You Buy

Bolt-in comes with an asterisk on this swap. You will drill out the spot welds on the stock right hand transmission bracket, drill the frame rail for the new Hasport bracket, and put a relief in the rail for Prelude transmission clearance. That is normal for an H swap and the instructions walk you through it, but it is not a same-weekend job for a first-timer.

Budget the supporting parts up front: H series swap axles and a non-SH Prelude intermediate shaft, an Accord or Prelude shifter box and cables, custom power steering lines with a relocated reservoir, and an H series AC compressor with custom lines if you keep AC. The good news from the EG and DC2 side: the stock Civic or Del Sol radiator works, and because these are already hydraulic clutch chassis your stock clutch master will run the Prelude slave with a custom line. You will still need a compatible engine harness and ECU. If you want the simplest modern path to power in an EG, a K swap is less fabrication; the H22 is for builders who want torque and that Prelude character.
