Competition Clutch Twin Disc Throwout Bearing (B/K Series)
Running a Competition Clutch 4-series twin disc behind a B-series or K-series manual? The stock Honda release bearing doesn't have the profile to release that stack, and the live 184mm bearing on competitionclutch.com (5-0826) is a different part. Competition Clutch's dedicated twin disc throwout bearing, part number TM5-8026-TBA, is the replacement release bearing those 4-8026-C, 4-8037-C, and 4-8017-C kits are built around. You get one bearing in the box, nothing else. This isn't a complete clutch, and it isn't the 184 Series 5-0826 / 5-0837 line.
What It Is and Why It Works
A 4-series twin disc clamps harder and stacks taller than a stock Honda disc, so this kit family uses a dedicated release bearing instead of the factory part. TM5-8026-TBA is sold as a single throwout bearing for Competition Clutch B-series and K-series twin disc kits, and authorized dealers also list it for those same families' triple disc setups. You're buying the bearing only. You still need the pressure plate, discs, and flywheel that make up the rest of the kit.
This is not 5-0826 and it is not 5-0837. Those current manufacturer pages are 184 Series (7.25 inch) race bearings: 5-0826 / 5-0826S for B/H 184 kits, and 5-0837 / 5-0837S for K-series 184 kits. TM5-8026-TBA does not appear on the live Competition Clutch throwout-bearing catalog as of 2026-08-15. Identity is from the Hybrid Racing SKU, authorized dealers (K-Series Parts, Tri-State), and a 2026-08-14 check against the live 5-0826 manufacturer page that confirmed they are different parts. Don't order this for a 184mm kit, and don't order 5-0826 for a 4-8026-C / 4-8037-C / 4-8017-C kit.

Fitment
Fitment follows the clutch kit, not the chassis badge. Competition Clutch does not publish a TM5-8026-TBA year chart. Authorized dealers title this bearing for B-series and K-series twin disc kits. Use it when the car already runs one of the 4-series kits below.
| Clutch Kit | Part Number |
| Competition Clutch B Series Twin Disc Clutch Kit | 4-8026-C |
| Competition Clutch K Series Rigid Twin Disc Clutch Kit | 4-8037-C |
| Competition Clutch Race Twin Disc (D/B/K Series) | 4-8017-C |
If your car runs one of those kits, whether that's a B18C1 Integra, a B16A2 Civic, a K20A2 RSX, or a K24 swap, this is the bearing for that stack. It doesn't fit a stock Honda clutch, a single-disc street kit, the Super Single 7.25 bearing (TM5-8026-TBASS), or the 184mm 5-0826 / 5-0837 race bearings. Match the kit already in the car before you order.
What to Know Before You Buy
Don't try the stock Honda bearing on a 4-series twin disc, and don't reuse a tired bearing on a fresh clutch. The labor to pull a B-series or K-series transmission is the expensive part of this job. A worn bearing that starts howling a month later means doing everything twice. While you're in there, replace the pilot bushing and inspect the release fork and fork pivot. That's standard practice on these cars.
Set up a clutch pedal stop so you're not over-stroking the release system, and expect the on/off engagement that comes with an unsprung twin disc. Neither is a fault of the bearing. If you're shopping the kits themselves, the matching 4-8026-C, 4-8037-C, and 4-8017-C kits live on this site. If you're on a 184mm kit, stop and buy 5-0826 / 5-0837 instead.
