Competition Clutch Stage 1 Gravity Clutch - RSX Base/EP3 Civic Si
If you’re building a mild K-series street car and don’t want a leg workout in traffic, the Competition Clutch Stage 1 Gravity Series 2400 is exactly that lane. This kit is aimed at lightly to moderately modified cars running bolt-ons and a tune, not big power. You’re looking at roughly a 40–50% torque capacity bump over stock while keeping a factory-like pedal feel, so you can daily it without hating life.
This Gravity Series 2400 setup fits the K20A3 in:
- 2002–2005 Honda Civic Si (great choice if you’re hunting a Honda Civic Si Stage 1 Clutch or want to buy Stage 1 Clutch Honda Civic)
- 2002–2006 Acura RSX Base 5spd
- 2003–2006 Honda Accord 5spd
Trade-offs? Here’s the honest bit: this clutch isn’t meant for forced induction. No turbo, no supercharger, no nitrous. If you’re planning to spray it or slap a big snail on the side, you’ll want to skip this and look at a higher stage. For a bolt-on K20A3 or K24A4 though—intake, header, exhaust, tune—it’s right in the sweet spot for a street car you can drive every day. We still run Competition Clutch kits like this on our own mild K cars because they hold the power without killing drivability.
Each Competition Clutch Stage 1 online kit includes:
- Clutch disc and pressure plate
- Alignment tool li>Throw-out bearing
- Install hardware
Fitment note (read this before you order):
The SKU: COC-8036-2400 Gravity Clutch is only made to run on the OEM flywheel. If you’re on a 2-800-ST flywheel, you’ll need an 8037-xxxx series Competition Clutch instead. So if you’re about to purchase Competition Clutch K20A3, double-check what flywheel you’re running first.
Bottom line: if you want a Stage 1 Clutch Acura RSX, Civic Si, or Accord that feels close to stock at the pedal, holds noticeably more torque, and doesn’t complain in daily traffic, this Gravity Series 2400 is the one to buy.
