It replaces your factory PCV setup with an internally baffled can that condenses oil and moisture out of your crankcase vapors and vents the rest through three reusable breather filters. Once you add a turbo, crank up the compression, or start spinning the engine to high RPM consistently, the crankcase vents a lot more blow-by than the factory system was built for. The internal baffles in this can slow the vapors down and let the oil and moisture condense and collect inside instead of passing through. Three washable breather filters handle the rest.
