You will see two narrow trays, not one big slot. Pull both factory pads. VF2022 fills both positions, so you are not hunting a second filter after the first one is in. Each pad only sits flush in one direction. If it is proud of the tray, you have it flipped. The whole job is a glovebox afternoon.
