The Innovative Mounts 90021-SB is the right hand engine block bracket for a 1996-2000 Civic EK\/EJ that has been converted to an EG subframe, and it will not line up on a car still wearing its stock crossmember.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWhat It Is and Why It Works\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe EG subframe sits roughly two inches farther back in the chassis than the EK piece, and the engine goes back with it. That shift is why Innovative Mounts builds the 96-00 K-swap bracket set twice. The stock subframe cars get 90010-SB, 90020-SB and 90030-SB. The EG subframe cars get 90011-SB, this 90021-SB, and 90031-SB. Go look at the car. If you never swapped the crossmember, order 90020-SB instead. If you did the EG conversion, this is your passenger side piece and you also want 90011-SB for the driver side and 90031-SB for the rear. Buying one bracket at a time works, but Innovative sells the EG subframe bracket set as B90051-SB and the complete EG subframe mount kit as 90051 or B90051, which is the shorter path.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a bracket. The polyurethane mount that bolts into it is a separate part number, and that catches people who assume \"sub bracket\" means the whole assembly. Read the cart before you check out.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you are dropping in a K24 rather than a K20, add the CR-V passenger side post mount bracket to the list. The K24 block does not take the K20 passenger mount directly, and that is a five minute realization that turns into a two week wait if you find it out with the engine hanging from a hoist. Innovative deletes the fluid damping Honda used in the factory mounts. That is what kills wheel hop and keeps the motor from flopping under load, and it is also why the car will be louder and buzzier at idle than stock. Nobody K-swaps an EK for a quiet commute, but know what you are signing up for.
