This is the OEM seal that stops it. Part number 91205-PL3-A01. It's the rubber seal that sits in your transmission case where the driver side axle shaft goes through. When the seal's worn or cracked, you're dripping gear oil on your driveway every time you park. You're losing fluid, contaminating what's left with road grime, and wearing out your transmission bearings from low oil levels. Fresh seal keeps your gear oil sealed in the transmission where it belongs.

Here's Why Axle Seals Fail

Axle seals fail from age and mileage. The rubber hardens from heat cycling, cracks develop, and the seal lips wear down from the axle shaft spinning against them for 100k+ miles. Once the seal starts weeping, it's not gonna get better. It's gonna get worse. You'll see a small drip that turns into a puddle. If you're swapping axles, doing a clutch job, or pulling your transmission for any reason, replace the axle seals. They're cheap and they're way easier to replace when the axle's already out than after you've buttoned everything up and realized you're leaking.

Driver Side Seal for DC Integra and More

This seal fits the driver side (left side) on a huge range of Hondas and Acuras from the 80s through 2020. Most people need this when they're doing an axle replacement on an Integra, Civic, CRX, or Accord. If you're pulling your driver side axle out, you're replacing this seal. Don't reuse the old one. Even if it looks okay, the seal lips are worn and it's not gonna seal right when you reinstall it. The seal's a couple bucks. A transmission rebuild from low oil is a few thousand. Don't cheap out.

OEM Seal Fits Right and Seals Right

Aftermarket axle seals are hit or miss. Sometimes they're the wrong size and they leak from day one. Sometimes the rubber's too soft or too hard and they don't seal properly. The OEM Honda seal's the right dimensions to press into your transmission case without leaking. The rubber compound's designed to handle transmission fluid, heat, and constant rotation without breaking down. You're pressing it in and it's sealing. That's what you want when you're doing the job once and you don't want to tear everything apart again because some cheap seal's leaking.

What You Get

Honda OEM driver side axle seal (part number 91205-PL3-A01)

Seals driver side axle where it exits transmission case

Prevents transmission fluid leaks

OEM dimensions for proper press-fit installation

Same seal your car came with from the factory

Fits Your Car

1997-1999 Acura CL

1994-2001 Acura Integra

1990-2002 Honda Accord

1984-2000 Honda Civic CX/DX/EX/HX/LX/VX/Si

2001-2005 Honda Civic DX/EX/LX

2006-2013 Honda Civic DX/EX/LX

1997-2001 Honda CR-V

1984 Honda CRX DX

1985-1989 Honda CRX DX/HF/Si

1990-1991 Honda CRX DX/HF

1993-1997 Honda Del Sol

2007-2020 Honda Fit

2000-2006 Honda Insight

1995-1998 Honda Odyssey

1990-1996 Honda Prelude S/Si/Si VTEC

1997-2001 Honda Prelude Base

Note: This is the driver side (left side) axle seal. If you need the DC Integra Passenger Side Axle seal, check out OHA-92015-PC9-711. When you're installing the seal, press it in square and straight. Don't hammer it in crooked or you'll damage the seal lip and it'll leak. Use a seal driver or a socket that's the same diameter as the outer edge of the seal. Tap it in evenly all the way around until it's flush with the transmission case. Before you install your axle, wipe a thin coat of clean transmission fluid on the seal lip. It lubricates the seal when the axle slides in and prevents tearing. If you're doing an axle replacement, check your CV boots while you're in there. If they're torn or cracked, replace the axle. Don't install a fresh seal and then have to tear everything apart again in six months because your CV boot failed and you need to pull the axle again.

Size: 35x56x8

(1) Driver Side Axle Seal
