Exedy rates it at 224 lb-ft at the wheels, and the four-puck thick disc is the more streetable of the two Stage 2 discs Exedy offers for this platform.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWhat It Is and Why It Works\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pressure plate is a ductile-iron Exedy Stage cover with roughly 40 percent more clamp load than stock, which is where the holding capacity comes from. The disc is cerametallic, so it doesn't fade when you slip it hot, and it's the thick disc, so there's enough material to survive abuse. The sprung hub keeps drivetrain shock out of the transmission. Compared with the 3-puck 08951, the fourth puck spreads engagement over more area, so it grabs a little less violently and wears longer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDon't read \"more streetable\" as smooth. It's a puck clutch. Engagement is short and firm, the pedal is heavier than stock, and creeping in traffic takes practice. It's fine as a daily if you're honest about that.
