Eibach's Sport-Plus kit bundles the Sportline springs with the 29mm front and 22mm rear anti-roll bars in one part number, so the 2016-2021 Civic sedan, coupe, or hatch gets the drop and the roll control in a single install and one alignment.

What It Is and Why It Works

Two Eibach kits in one box. The Sportline springs (E20-40-036-01-22) are progressive-rate lowering springs that bring the car down roughly 1.4 inches in front and 1.2 inches in the rear on the factory dampers, with a soft initial rate for daily ride and a stiffer rate deeper in the travel for cornering. The anti-roll kit (E40-40-036-01-11) adds a 29mm tubular front bar and a 22mm tubular rear bar with two-way adjustment, both cold-formed steel with urethane bushings and hardware. Springs lower the center of gravity and control squat and dive; the bars control roll. Doing both at once is what makes a lowered Civic feel planted instead of just low. Everything bolts to factory mounts with no cutting, and Eibach tested the springs on the factory dampers.

Specs

Part number

E45-40-036-01-22

Springs

Sportline E20-40-036-01-22, progressive rate, set of 4

Drop

Approx 1.4 in front, 1.2 in rear (per Eibach)

Front bar

29mm tubular, non-adjustable

Rear bar

22mm tubular, 2-way adjustable

Dampers

Factory dampers, tested by Eibach

Includes

4 springs, 2 bars, bushings, brackets, hardware

Warranty

Five-year warranty per eibach's current listing

Fitment

Year

Make

Model

Body

Trim

2016-2021

Honda

Civic

Sedan, Coupe, Hatchback

LX, LX-P, EX, EX-T, EX-L, Touring, Sport, Sport Touring

This kit is built around the Sportline spring set for the standard Civic, which Eibach lists for the base sedan, coupe, and hatchback and the Sport hatch. Eibach requires its rear camber kit (5.67476K) to get the rear alignment back into spec at this height, so plan on that part and an alignment the same week, not later. Start the rear bar on the soft hole and move to the stiff one after a few drives. The factory end links will preload the bars at this ride height; Eibach's adjustable end links fix it and are worth adding at install. If you want a milder drop with the same bars, the Pro-Plus kit uses Pro-Kit springs instead.

Fitment

Year

Make

Model

Body

Trim

2016-2021

Honda
