Clean with aFe's Power Cleaner, air dry, reinstall. It's a filter, not an intake; the gain is reusability and a little less restriction at the top of the rev range under boost. If you're chasing power, this goes in first and the intake comes later, and a good intake keeps the factory-style airbox anyway.
