If you've got a 1.5T or 2.0T Accord - manual or automatic - and you want the car to feel tighter and more responsive, this is one of the best bang-for-buck mods you can do.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch4\u003eHere's What the Stock Mount's Doing Wrong\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eHonda designed the factory rear engine mount to isolate vibration and keep the cabin quiet. That's great for a stock Accord putting around town but the soft rubber lets the motor move way too much when you're accelerating hard. The engine rocks back under throttle, it pitches forward when you lift, and all that movement's flexing the drivetrain instead of putting power down. You're also getting wheel hop on hard launches because the motor's bouncing around instead of staying planted. The Hasport mount fixes that by replacing the soft rubber with urethane bushings that don't flex nearly as much. The motor doesn't move at all and you're getting maximum power transfer but the cabin's buzzing at idle and you're feeling every vibration from the drivetrain. This is for dedicated track cars or competition builds where comfort doesn't matter. Don't run 94A on a daily driver unless you hate your passengers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch4\u003eWhat You're Going to Feel\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAfter you install this mount, the first thing you'll notice is less engine movement. The motor stays planted when you get on the throttle instead of rocking back. Shifts feel crisper because the drivetrain's not flexing. Throttle response is more immediate because the motor's not moving around when you're modulating the pedal. Wheel hop on hard launches goes away or gets way better because the motor's locked down. The trade-off's more vibration in the cabin depending on which durometer you picked. At idle you'll feel more buzz through the chassis. That's normal - it's the motor vibration that the soft factory mount was absorbing.
