O2 Sensor Wiring
Even though we supply you with but connectors we highly recommend soldering all joints. If you are running a Kpro you do not need to run the secondary O2 sensor wires. This sensor can be disabled in the Kpro software. Refer to your Kpro Help section on how to perform this task. The primary sensors located on the RSX Type S and Type R engines are wideband sensors and can not be replaced with any other sensor.Make sure to use the primary O2 from an RSX or equivalent. |

Primary O2 Sensor
Located on your H.R. conversion harness are 2 sets of heat shielded wires. Locate the one labeled primary. Next remove the Female O2 connector from your stock EG/DC engine harness (leaving 2-3 in of wire). Connect the plug to the Hybrid Racing conversion harness as outlined below. The first row of wires are the colors found on the Hybrid Racing shielded wire. The 2nd row of wires are the colors that you should find on your K series O2. |

You should have one black plug remaining (DLC). This plug does not connect to any plug on the chassis and is used for retrieving/updating data from/to the ECU. (4) |
You will need to modify the K series charging harness located under the intake manifold of your engine. (5) (6) |
If running Kpro ECU make sure to disable the Immobilizer, Multiplexer and OBD2 functions. Refer to your Kpro Help section for more information (7) |
Make sure you have at least three good grounds on your K series engine. |
Connect the battery back and test start the car. If the car starts continue to next section. If the car does not start recheck the previous instructions. |
